This project is designed specifically for the pre-printed embroidery block panels by McKim Studio, Ruby's Farm Life and Ruby's Flower Garden. The 30's Sampler is now availalbe as a complete pattern. The pattern is printed in black ink with a color cover and all the blocks shown in color inside the front and back cover. Waddington Road Sampler
My grandmother lived on Waddington Road so when selecting blocks to include in this 8 month Block of the Month program I was attracted to blocks with names such as Grandmother's Choice, Hens and Chicks, and Corn and Beans. They sound grandmotherly to me! The pattern includes the Magic Triangle Ruler by Sally Schneider which is used to make most of the blocks and to trim the quarter square triangles in the border. The pattern features my fabric collection Waddington Road Primitives by Barbara J. Eikmeier for Paintbrush Studio.

Inspired by antique random block sampler quilts from the late 1800s the Vintage Sampler quilt was designed as a 12 month Block of the Month program. Vintage Sampler features my first fabric collection Vintage Shirting and Dress Prints by Barbara J. Eikmeier for Paintbrush Studio. The complete pattern is available retail or wholesale. Also sews up beautifully in civil war reproductions.

Vintage Sampler Corrections (NOT one of Barb’s Favorites)
Every effort has been made to publish a pattern free of errors but in spite of pattern testing, proofreading, and professional editing sometimes they still sneak past.
The patterns shipped in SOME shop kits have the following correction:
Month 2, Square-in-a-Square Four Patch blocks, in the chart for Rotary Cutting piece C should be 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. Corrections will be made to customer patterns before they ship. I apologize for the error. BJE
